Squaw Valley encompasses six Sierra Nevada peaks and 4,000 acres of snowy terrain just west of Lake Tahoe's north shore. The resort offers terrain for beginners through experts, including a learning area, intermediate boulevards, powder skiing, tight chutes and moguls. In addition to 16 open bowls and more than 100 runs, Squaw Valley has three dedicated terrain parks and two halfpipes for snowboarders. The resort is 47 miles from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
